Frequently Asked Questions

Question:

How do I "zero" the DART?

Answer:

The DART is "zeroed" by making sure the connected and operating Series 53xx has no proximity voltage in, then in the DART, install the "zero" jumper (short), then remove the jumper (open). Now if there is any offset voltage error in the Series 53xx, the correction factor (if any) is stored in non-volatile memory of the DART.

Note: When the DART is connected to a Series 300, the jumper should remain installed (shorted).
