Frequently Asked Questions
Question:
What provisions are made to handle proximity voltage analog offset problems?
Answer:
There is an internal contact on the DART circuit board which "zeros" the proximity voltage analog signal. This offset voltage correction factor (if any) is stored in non-volatile memory. If the DART or station monitor is replaced or voltage drifts over time, entering a new correction factor is a simple matter of "re-zeroing".
Note: When the DART is connected to a Series 300, the zero jumper should remain installed (shorted).
